Obituary of Troas Servidio

Troas "Jean" Trask Servidio, age 93, of Millcreek Twp., passed away on December 27, 2014. She was the daughter of the late Nelson G. Trask and Avara E. Hartman Trask. Jean was born in Findlay, OH on April 30, 1921. She graduated from Findlay H.S. and attended Findlay University, where she met her husband Naz Richard Servidio. They were married on April 15, 1940. Naz passed away on February 1, 2003. In addition to her husband of 62 years, she was preceded in death by her oldest son, Ronald Richard Servidio, who passed away on December 13, 2011, also a sister, Mary Jo Paul, and two brothers; Robert and Theodore (Ted) Trask. Jean was devoted to her church and enjoyed attending church events. She was an avid reader, enjoyed walks on the Peninsula, wildlife, gardening, photography, traveling, and had especially fond memories of her trips to Hawaii and Italy. Most of all she loved family parties and picnics. She is survived by two sons; Gary Gene Servidio (Delores) of Redding, CA, James Jeffery Servidio (Judy) of Conroe, TX, four daughter: Sally Suzanne Potter (Neal), Diane Deborah Servidio, and Mary Marlene Tobin (Dave), all of Erie, Jill Jeanine of Aurora, CO, ten grandchildren, five boys: Joey Cilladi, Spesh Robinson, Jeff and Judd Servidio, and Alex Decarolis, five girls: Shawna Patton, Shanee Ayala, Genie Cilladi, and Tiffany and Courtney Tobin, and eleven great-grandchildren. The family would like to extend a special "thank you" to the Great Lakes Hospice team for their love, concern, and support. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m. and are invited there on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 for the Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m. conducted by Jean's minister, the Rev. Doug Johnson. Private burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
