Camille Marie Laniewicz Hess, age 70, of Erie, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at St. Vincent Hospital after a brief illness. She was born in Erie, PA on January 3, 1944, the daughter of the late Frank and Theresa Laniewicz. She was employed as a home health care nurse. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses and enjoyed cooking, reading, and traveling. She is survived by four children: Anita Kinnear, Scott Hess, Karen Mahwhinney, Julie Hunt, two sisters, three brothers, twelve grandchildren, and one great grandson. She was preceded in death by two brothers. Private services were conducted by the convenience of the family under the direction of the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Adoptions from the Heart, 206 N. Main Street, Greensburg, PA 15601.
