Evelyn M. Mumau Smilo Carlson Evelyn M. Mumau Smilo Carlson, age 78, formerly of Millcreek Twp, died Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at Providence Health Care Center in Beaver Falls, PA. She was born in Marion Center, PA on December 7, 1929, the daughter of the late John R. and Bertha J. Burnheimer Mumau. She was employed at Lord Corp. until her retirement in 1990. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. She enjoyed bowling, gardening, and crafts. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Mike Smilo, her second husband, Adolph Carlson, three brothers: Norris, Darl, and Lester Mumau, and two sisters, Dorothy Bence and Twila Buterbaugh. She is survived by two daughters, Brenda Lichius and her husband, David, of Beaver Falls, Roselyn Brent and her husband, John, of Cataula GA, one sister, Leona Mertz of Fl, one brother, Francis Mumau and his wife, Joanne, of Commodore, PA, four grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Friday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to St. Paul's Lutheran Church for the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Interment Erie Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 3108 Sterrettania Rd. Erie, PA 16506.
