Obituary of Ray Switzer

Ray L. Switzer, age 66, of Millcreek Twp., passed away Sunday, March 15, 2015 at his residence. He was born on February 28, 1949 in Curllsville, PA, the son of the late Jack E. and Mary Myers Switzer, Sr. He was a 1967 graduate of McDowell H.S. and attended Hyles-Anderson Christian College. He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was an avid Steelers fan. He was preceded in death by one brother, David Switzer. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Erna E. Fisher Switzer, one daughter, Shelly R. Weider (Brad) of Millcreek, one son, Sean E. Switzer (Leighann) of Corryton, TN, four grandchildren: Austin, Dustin, Shae, Sabrina, one brother, Jack E. Switzer, Jr. (Mary) of Raleigh, NC, and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Thursday from 1 to 3 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited there on Friday at 10:00 a.m. for the Funeral Service.
