Obituary of Daniel Greulich

Daniel C. "Bear" Greulich, Sr., age 63, of Erie, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2015 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Erie on June 2, 1951, the son of the late, Joe and Betty Nagele Greulich. Dan was employed at American Tinning and Galvanizing for over 30 years and then was employed at Hovis Auto Supply. He was a coach and commissioner of Erie Boys Baseball. Dan enjoyed golf, bowling, watching sports; especially football and baseball. He was preceded in death by one sister, Jean Madden and one brother, Bob Greulich. He is survived by his wife Florence DeFoy Greulich, his children: Rachael of Erie, Daniel, Jr. of Erie, Stephen Greulich (Chevon) of NC, five grandchildren: Hailey, Zack, Makayla, Alex, and Marcel, four brothers: Mike, Bill, Joe, and John Greulich, and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. until time of Funeral Service there at 7:00 p.m. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Erie Regional Cancer Center, 2500 West 12th Street, Erie, PA 16505 or to Great Lakes Hospice, 1700 Peach Street, Suite 244, Erie, PA 16501.
