Obituary of Todd Hammer

Todd J. Hammer, age 29, of Millcreek Twp., passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2015. He was born in Erie on April 2, 1986, the son of Linda Sandell Hammer and the late James F. Hammer. Todd was a 2004 graduate of McDowell H.S. He received his Associates Degree at a local college. Todd enjoyed working in the service industry for several local restaurants. He was a member of Grace Church. He loved creating music, boating, jet skiing, and spending time with his family and friends. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents: Clifford and Suzanne Sandell, Shirley Robacker Hammer, and Frank Hammer. Todd is survived by his loving mother, Linda Sandell Hammer, two brothers, Mike Hammer (Katie) of Pittsburgh, Chad Hammer of Pittsburgh, his aunt, Karen Sandell of Wilmington, NC., and other extended family members. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday at Grace Church from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service there at 11:00 a.m. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
